Dr. Sugarman received his doctorate in dentistry from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and continued his General Practice Residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. He went on to do advanced training with a pediatric dental residency at Montefiore Medical Center. This afforded him the knowledge necessary to treat a wide range of dental problems in children and adolescents. In addition, Dr. Sugarman was specifically trained to meet the complex dental needs of children with associated medical, emotional or sensory issues.

In 2012, after spending several years working in a New York health center, Dr. Sugarman started Clifton Pediatric Dental Care. He lives in Bergen County with his wife and four children, with whom he loves spending his free time. Clifton Pediatric Dental Care treats their patients like family too, to ensure that each patient feels happy and well-cared for whenever they visit.

Dr. Idelina Almanzar completed her undergraduate education at New York City College of Technology, where she graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Dental Hygiene and a Bachelor's in Health Services Administration. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Howard University College of Dentistry.

Fueled by her passion for pediatric dentistry, Dr. Almanzar pursued advanced postdoctoral training at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, where she gained expertise in all facets of pediatric dental care, including behavioral guidance, special health care needs, and treatment of children with complex medical conditions.

Dr. Almanzar focuses on preventive dental care as well as minimally invasive dentistry to foster positive dental experiences for children and promote lifelong oral health habits.

During her free time, Dr. Almanzar enjoys baking and spending quality time with her husband and two children.
